Merchant Setup & Quickstart Guide

Everything you need to set up your TakaFast merchant account, connect bKash/Nagad/Rocket methods, configure the Android SMS Listener app, and start accepting automated payments.

How TakaFast Works

TakaFast enables digital merchants in Bangladesh to accept instant customer payments without manual transaction bookkeeping. Customers pay using their preferred mobile wallet or crypto, and TakaFast automatically verifies the transaction in under 3 seconds.

Account Setup & Subscription Tier

To get started, register a free merchant account on TakaFast and verify your email address.

  1. Navigate to Register and enter your merchant profile details.
  2. Log in to your Merchant Dashboard.
  3. Head to the Subscription section to select a package matching your monthly transaction volume. Higher tiers unlock multi-device clustering, Official Gateway access, and USDT crypto rails.

Creating Your Store & API Credentials

Every e-commerce site, app, or sales funnel is organized under a Store.

Step 1: Go to Stores → Add Store. Enter your website name, business URL, and upload your brand logo.
Step 2: Domain Whitelist: For security, enter the exact domain name from which API requests will originate (e.g., mybrand.com). Requests from unapproved domains are automatically blocked.
Step 3: Copy API Keys: Once created, copy your App Key and Secret Key. Never share your secret key publicly.

Configuring Payment Methods

Add the payment numbers or crypto wallets through which you wish to collect payments.

bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay (Mobile Financial Services)

Select Personal, Agent, or Merchant. Enter your valid 11-digit mobile number (e.g. 01XXXXXXXXX). Note: Each phone number can only be added once per provider.

USDT BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain Crypto)

For Ultra plan merchants, automated HD wallet derivation assigns a unique deposit address per invoice. Customers have a 15-minute payment window to complete their transfer.

Direct Bank Transfers

Enter your bank name, branch name, account number, and routing code for high-ticket bank settlement instructions.

Connecting the Android SMS Listener App

If you are utilizing custom mobile banking accounts (Personal or Agent), install our official Android SMS listener app on the phone holding your active SIM cards.

  1. Download the APK from the Devices section of your dashboard.
  2. Scan your unique Device Pairing QR Code inside the mobile app.
  3. Grant SMS Read and Background Autostart permissions on your Android phone.
  4. Disable battery saver optimization for the TakaFast listener app so it remains active 24/7.
  5. Check the dashboard to confirm the device status displays Online (Heartbeat Active).

Creating Payment Links & API Checkout

You can accept payments either via no-code Payment Links or full REST API integration:

Option A: No-Code Payment Links

Navigate to Payment Links → Create Link. Set your product title, billing amount, and expiration. Share the link directly on Facebook, WhatsApp, or email.

Option B: RESTful API Integration

Send a POST request from your backend server to initiate an invoice checkout session:

Merchant Withdrawals & Payouts

For transactions routed through the platform's Official Gateway, your earnings accumulate in your merchant balance.

  1. Go to Withdrawals → Request Payout.
  2. Select your preferred payout method (bKash Personal/Agent, Nagad, or Bank Transfer).
  3. Enter the withdrawal amount and submit. Our finance team processes disbursements same-day according to platform clearing schedules.
  4. Download detailed financial statements anytime in the Reports tab.
