Terms of Service — TakaFast Payment Gateway

Welcome to TakaFast. By accessing our platform, registering a merchant account, using our APIs, or utilizing our automated payment gateway services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Merchant Eligibility & Account Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to conduct commercial activities in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API secret keys. Any activity performed using your API credentials is your sole responsibility.

2. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use TakaFast for any of the following prohibited categories:

Illegal gambling, betting, or unregulated lottery schemes.
Sale of counterfeit, stolen, or infringing digital or physical goods.
Phishing, malware distribution, or pyramid/ponzi investment schemes.
Processing unauthorized third-party transactions or conducting money laundering.

Violation of these guidelines will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of service, and reporting to relevant legal authorities.

3. Fees & Subscription Plans

Subscription fees are billed according to your selected plan. Plan upgrades, transaction quotas, and limits are enforced systematically. Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle begins.

4. Merchant Balance & Withdrawals

Merchants routing transactions through the Official Gateway channel may request payouts of their available balance. Payouts are subject to standard processing timelines and anti-fraud verification before disbursement.

5. Service Availability & Limitation of Liability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, TakaFast is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from upstream mobile network downtime, SMS delivery delays by telecom carriers, or third-party bank outages.
