1. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Fraud Prevention
To prevent financial crime and illicit money movement, TakaFast enforces automated transaction monitoring algorithms that detect anomalous payment spikes, rapid velocity patterns, and mismatched billing amounts.
- Every transaction is cryptographically logged with sender identification, timestamp, and network carrier verification.
- Duplicate transaction IDs are rejected across all stores on the platform.
- Suspicious transactions trigger automated review freezes and immediate administrative inspection.
2. Know Your Merchant (KYM) Standards
All merchants utilizing TakaFast must complete identity verification, provide a valid business URL, and undergo domain whitelisting approval before processing live transactions through the gateway.
3. Data Protection & Privacy Rights
We adhere to core international data protection principles (including GDPR-compatible frameworks):
- Right to Access: Merchants may download copies of their historical transaction records and ledger logs at any time.
- Right to Rectification: Merchants can update inaccurate profile or payout information through their dashboard.
- Data Minimization: We retain transaction logs solely for accounting, tax compliance, and fraud audit periods.
